Questions, gently answered

How quiet is it, really?

Softer than a quiet room — you’ll mostly hear the water.

How often does it need cleaning?

Give it a quick rinse once a week, and a full clean every two to four weeks. Every part lifts right out — no tools, no tiny crevices.

Will my cat actually use it?

Most cats take to moving water within a few days. Keep the old bowl nearby while they get used to it — they’ll come around.

How often do I change the filter?

Every two to four weeks is a good rhythm, depending on your water and how many cats drink from it. Replacement filters live in our shop — we’ll make it easy to remember.

What touches the water?

Materials vary by model. On our signature stainless-steel fountain, the basin and drinking tray are stainless steel. See each product page for full materials.

My cat is nervous around new things — will this work?

Completely normal. Let it sit switched off for a day or two so it becomes furniture, then turn it on. Keep the old bowl nearby — most cats come around within a few days.
